For Sky Donovan, there really seem to be no limits. In less than a year, this 28-year-old San Franciscan has catapulted to "Golden Boy" status in the porn world. He's not only a Raging Stallion exclusive but an active partner in the company, with his own production company called, of course, Golden Boy. Add to that his recent duties as Zeusboy 2002, his directorial debut and his substantial list of past, current and future releases for Raging Stallion, Golden Boy, Falcon and Titan, and you have one busy little porn pup. Sexpack Eight gives a great showcase for not only Donovan but Raging Stallion's other bankable stars like Michael Brandon, Rik Jammer, Robert Black and Evrett, and introduces us to up-and-cummers Titus Drumm (word play if I ever saw it) and Andy Hunter. Again, filmed in "Sex-a-Scope," SP-8 comes in a regular version and a "Private Hardcore Mail Order Edit" that features almost 45 additional minutes. One big difference overall, according to Director Ward, is that most of the action is filmed outdoors, as Raging Stallion "strives to become a major player in the outdoor sex genre." (Could this be a new Grabby Category?) Raging Stallion is blessed with a topnotch production team, and the work of Ward protégé Brian Hastings is evident, especially in the stylistic opening credits. One sure way to avoid overexposure and burnout is Donovan's chameleon-like ability to go from man to boy. In "Black Sky Fantasy," we are treated to a lean boyish Donovan whose magazine J/O session turns to sensual reality as the magazine model, Robert Black, slowly appears from the shadows. As Donovan sleeps, Black strokes his seven-plus inch cock as the camera weaves in and out of the shadows and longingly captures the curves of his muscled, tattooed arms and his thick, veiny shaft. A startled Donovan awakens to lick Black's shiny boots, and hot sex ensues as Donovan sucks on Black's pole. Donovan's butthole is framed nicely in the camera as Black gorges on his flower. In the hardcore edit, Black "fists" Donovan, but it's more of a tender, sensual prostate exam when compared to a scene later in the movie, and Donovan doesn't seem at all comfortable. The cum scene is a pretty standard "jack-n-squirt," first Donovan and then Black. "Fucking in the Forest" is the first outdoor scene and features Michael Brandon and Titus Drumm. Drumm has a '70s pornstar quality, wearing black jeans and a tank-top, filling the scene with cigarette smoke. The pairing of Drumm and Brandon is phenomenal. Drumm doesn't mind gagging a little, and Brandon doesn't mind fucking Drumm's throat to its very "audible" gag reflex. Drumm is a furry bear type, with both nipples pierced and head shaved. When Brandon bends Drumm over a tree stump to plug him, we see that Drumm's back is covered with tattooes. The heat is definitely here as Brandon power-fucks an exuberant Drumm, who lustily laughs with each ram of the "Monster." When Drumm and Brandon finally pop, we've witnessed another stellar fuck at the level we've grown accustomed to from Brandon and Raging Stallion. My advice to Drumm call me, I have lots of witch hazel and aloe to soothe you! Mark Evrett is all alone, again, probably waiting for me in "Desert Dreams," as the camera swoops in on him engaged in a little self-pleasure amidst the rocky, barren landscape. Evrett's facial and body hair are the stuff of dreams as he works his thick cock into a lather. It's here where you'll really want the Hardcore Mail Order edit, as we see an additional scene, called "Mark's Hand," featuring Evrett in a steamy self-fisting segment. (Yes, you read that correctly.) Evrett's matted and glistening fur surrounds his throbbing hole as he repeatedly plugs his hand in up to the wrist while his other hand strokes his meat. Hot stuff as the camera spares no details and we get an almost medical view of Evrett's sphincter. By day, Evrett may provide support to Ward and Slater's front office, but it's his "back door" that swings open here. And although the "business" is left unfinished, this is definitely an award worthy solo scene. In "Late Afternoon on a Hill Top," Donovan is back, this time shirtless, and he has Rik Jammer bound to a pole with his hands suspended above his shoulder. Jammer has an incredible bubble ass, and the "tough guy" Donovan takes over here, flagellating him with a soft leather flogger. Jammer couldn't be any harder as Donovan swirls the tentacles of the whip across his back and then onto the head of his cock. Studly Jammer is quite vocal about his pleasure but doesn't get more than a couple licks from Donovan before he is left hanging (literally), and neither of them visibly gets off here. Just about everything I've read about Donovan in the past few months has mentioned his hot ass. And while they may have meant his hot bubble butt, I'm just as impressed with his thick sphincter muscle, which looks like it's permanently pulled tight with some internal drawstring. "Hardcore Edit Sky at Play" features Donovan in a solo jack session. The camera soon focuses on his gorgeous ass as he fingers it and then plugs it with a monstrous dildo. With baseball cap and work boots, Donovan achieves another "look" as he rides the latex love monster to his own ejaculatory satisfaction. Donovan can work his hole without making it look "worked over." In "Down by the Wood Stack," Donovan takes a few butch whacks with an ax at the logs in front of him, but when scene costar Andy Hunter arrives, getting wood takes on a whole new meaning. Paired with the boyish Hunter (aka Michael Fallon), this scene looks like no others in the movie. Donovan is shirtless, wearing jeans, his signature necklace and sports short blonde hair. Donovan and Hunter first do a long jack together, and Donovan blows a load onto the ax. Hunter/Fallon has gotten leaner and smoother since I saw him in Titan's ManPlay MP-001, but the 22-year-old does some log splitting of his own as he plugs Donovan's hole with a bone that just won't quit. This well-lit outdoor scene is sure to be on award nomination lists at the end of the year. |
